    Okay so when I ride at this stable I notice that this horse has something wrong with its back right leg every time he takes a step it twists tword his body does any one know whats wrong with it?He is pretty old but we're not sure how old and he doesn't seem to mind it I'm just curious.

    Could be a number of things, from stifle to hip to conformation to old injury, to who knows.

    Sounds like hes loved and used and probably the best things for him. I wouldn't worry about it, horses are resilent, probably has been like that a while if not his whole life. Unless hes lame, I wouldn't do anything.

    It could be just teh way he walks. I know a horse who walks like she has a pickle in her butt. My horse sorta points her toes out when she walks. If its not bothering him I wouldn't worry about it.

    its probably a weak stifle.
    we have a few horses who do it, it's not a big deall.
    if you want to stop it do hill work and it will strengthen so he wont turn.

    has he had an injury to his stifle that is normally the case i have owned a horse that hurt his stifle and he walked like that for quite awhile until it repaired it self i would get it checked with him being old now you should ask about it the owner might be able to tell you why it will probably be down to an old accident
